A statement addition to the Nelson Bay CBD
Located on the corner of Donald and Church Streets, The Belvedere is set to offer a collection of two- and three-bedroom residences, including penthouses with sweeping views of Port Stephens.
In the article, Fortezza’s Roberto Giammaria noted:
“We’re designing a rooftop terrace with a pool, spa, gym and sauna. It’s something that’s never been done in Nelson Bay before and we think it will really lift the standard of apartment living in the area.”
The project is a rare opportunity to deliver high-quality, architecturally designed homes in a regional coastal centre, helping to address local housing shortages while raising the bar for lifestyle-focused living.
Designed to complement, not overwhelm
The design team worked closely with planning consultants and architects to ensure the project aligns with zoning and urban context. The result is a development that respects the area’s charm while adding new energy and housing supply.
Fast-tracked with community benefit in mind
As a State Significant Development, The Belvedere enters a streamlined planning pathway, reducing assessment timeframes and accelerating project delivery.
Construction is anticipated to commence in early 2026, with an expected completion date in early 2028.
